We have stayed here several times over the past three years, and each visit has been absolutely amazing. From the moment we checked in until checkout, the hospitality was exceptional. The rooms offer stunning views of the tropical jungle, and the rain shower and amenities are of the highest quality. Breakfast at Cascades is an unparalleled experience, with breathtaking views and à la minute dishes that are simply outstanding. Another highlight of the Viceroy is the presence of Apéritif, one of the best restaurants in Bali. What more could you ask for?

The Viceroy Ubud is more than just a hotel; it’s an immersive experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff who instantly made us feel at home. The clean, timeless design seamlessly blends with the lush natural surroundings, creating a down-to-earth and grounding environment that perfectly complements the Valley of the Kings. A highlight of our stay was the exquisite dining experience at Aperitif. The food was simply divine, and the perfectly paired cocktails elevated the culinary journey. Our experience at the beautiful spa, including the couples massage, is highly recommended. It is prevalent why this hotel has the name for itself and the awards that it does. Honestly, it feels like a privilege to have experienced this hotel and all that comes along with it. We will no doubt be returning to this tranquil paradise and relive the magic.

We were impressed with the experience of staying at this place. We haven't even left yet, but from the moment we set foot here, we were surprised by the smallest details. We have traveled to more than 20 countries and have never been so well treated and attended to. The hotel's facilities are fantastic, the food is wonderful, and the service is second to none. We spent 2 weeks in Bali for our honeymoon and the Viceroy was our highlight. If you’re considering spending time in Ubud then I strongly recommend you consider this incredible Oasis hidden in the rainforest. Room - Absolutely amazing, beautiful Service - The best you could imagine, it honestly felt like we were the only couple in the hotel Location - Perfect. They run a shuttle (basically a lovely air conditioned car) to Ubud Centre, every day. One of the evenings it took us just 7 minutes to get home. Food - Delicious Can’t recommend this place enough.

Wow! Anyone who is not completely mesmerized by the level of service, the grounds, and the rooms will never be satisfied in this life. Hands down the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Truly amazed by the level of service where all the staff we encountered knew us on first name basis somehow and the room was truly divine. Can't wait to come back.

A truly 5 star experience. From start to finish every aspect has a certain magic that only an established well rounded resort can exude. The grounds are stunning, well designed and beautifully manicured. The rooms offer tranquil views of a palm tree laden gulley. Quiet yet close to Ubud city center for daily excursions. (The hotel operates a shuttle to Ubud center throughout the day. It’s about a 15-20 min ride only because of the heavy traffic) Service excelled consistently with every request and requirement. There’s not much else to say except it’s a must stay if you are looking for a beautiful hotel with exceptional service and tranquility. The only downside is the breakfast which was lacking flavor and a little underwhelming. I did not have dinner at their onsite restaurant so I cannot comment on that.

Absolutely incredible hotel. Spent several days here on our honeymoon trip of 4 locations, and it was both mine and my wife's favorite hotel. Beautiful rooms, heated pools, great food, and an amazingly helpful, friendly and kind staff. They offer rides into the town for drop offs and pickups which was an amazing benefit, and the hotel has a filtered water system which is a rare treat when staying in Bali. Also it has one of the best gyms I've ever seen in a hotel. We will 100% be staying here again if we're hopefully able to make another trip to Bali in the near future.

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. Sadly we were only there for 2 nights but packed a lot into that time. The staff are fabulous and we want to say thank you to Pradnya who was our driver for the day and took us to the airport. He helped us pack in a lot of the sights into our half day tour and gave us a lot of insight into the area and a much better understanding of Balinese culture. It made our trip to Bali and we are so glad we stayed here.

Just a wonderful experience. The room was incredible, service outstanding, a place to return to many more times. Butler service was excellent. Probably the best food room service menu I know. Breakfast can be served in the villa without any limitations. Their fine dining restaurant Aperitif has an incredible chef from Belgium and the best fine dining option Ubud has to offer

What a slice of paradise this place is! We stayed as a family in the 2 bedroom Vice Regal Villa and it was just stunning and so luxurious. The kids aged 10 and 15 loved having their own pool and room upstairs, and also the gym and squash courts. The gym was one of the best we have seen in Bali! The food here - incredible and if you like fine dining make sure you try the Degustation Dinner at Apertif. Our other favourite place was the Pinstripe cocktail bar, the kids would play on the pool table while we tried some of the amazing cocktails and wines. Pool area is stunning and the staff here just so friendly and helpful. Spa was beautiful and so was the massage. Such beautiful views into the valley from the resort too - we really can't recommend this hotel enough if you are after something luxurious and peaceful!

After three days at the Viceroy two years ago we were anxious to return for a five day visit this time and we were not disappointed. Your initial impression upon entering the open lobby is that you are in for a special experience. The check in process was flawless and you are quickly golf carted to your villa. Whatever villa you have chosen you will be pleased. They are all roomy, well appointed and comfortable. Besides the impressive physical aspects of the hotel, the valley setting really sets the Viceroy apart from other fine hotels in Ubud We are anxious to return once again.

We had a great honeymoon at Viceroy Bali! The service was amazing (specially from all the staff in the Cascades restaurant), the food was delicious and catered to special diets, and the place is gorgeous.
